The ABPA Southern California Chapter currently has over 200 members who share an interest in maintaining water quality standards.

MISSING OR STOLEN BACKFLOW PREVENTION ASSEMBLIES: Backflow prevention assembly theft has become a significant problem in Southern California. Because of the importance of this issue, the ABPA SoCal Chapter has established a section on our web site devoted to publishing reports of missing/stolen backflow prevention assemblies.

NEW EVENT: The SoCal Chapter will hold an update seminar covering backflow prevention assembly field testing procedures and repair/lead-free issues on March 14, 2012 at Eastern Municipal Water District in Perris, CA. This event is limited to the first 70 who pre-register by March 2, 2012. For more information, contact Mr. Pete Peters at (909) 987-2591. The flyer is available here. JUST ANNOUNCED: The ABPA Southern California Chapter is accepting applications for the E. Kent Springer and Ernest J. Havlina Chapter awards. Nominations are due no later than November 10, 2011 and can be submitted by mail or e-mail to Chapter President Pete Peters.
