Water
purveyors and administrative authorities can report backflow
prevention assemblies that are missing or stolen using this
form. Reports can be submitted by
e-mail or fax to Mr. Scott Carr at (760) 753-5935. The Colorado
ABPA chapter recently published an article
regarding this problem and have granted permission for the
SoCal Chapter to post it. Governor Schwarzenegger recently signed four legislative bills combating metal theft. A summary of the bills is in this press release dated 9/30/2008.
